The movie follows Lizzy, an aspiring young chef who hopes to compete in the prestigious Saucy Food Festival. With her three best friends in tow, Lizzy sets off with a singular goal in mind. However, things quickly get out of hand, and what starts as a trip for Lizzy’s big break turns into a misadventure full of food, fun, and friendship.
This year has been a boon for comedies focused on female friendships with Joy Ride and Bottoms. Following in the footsteps of female-driven comedies, Tripped Up brings a fun new road trip misadventure that is sure to become a girls’ night comedy classic. Tripped Up will exclusively hit theaters on October 20 before becoming available through VOD platforms on October 27.
