From the mind of Matthew Vaughn, the director of Kingsman and Kick-Ass, the upcoming spy thriller is based on an unreleased book of the same title by first-time author Elly Conway, whose actual existence has been questioned. The star-studded Argylle cast includes Henry Cavill as the titular spy alongside Sam Rockwell and Bryce Dallas Howard, among many big names.
Now, ahead of the Argylle release date next year, Universal unveiled the first official teaser trailer for the spy movie, and it’s a doozy.
